Hearing on the request of Scott Ellinwood, FAIA, agent/architect for Faith Lutheran Church, to consider Case No. 14-1700-CUPM/CDP for Final review of a request to construct a parsonage, consisting of a 2,219 square foot modular home with an attached 484 square foot site-built garage located at the southwest corner of the property facing Ogan Road. Hearing on the request of Laura Weinstein, agent for Edward St. George to consider Case No. 14-1714-CDP/ARB for preliminary review of a second floor and ground floor additions of approximately 897 square feet. The property is a 10,019 square foot parcel zoned Single Family Residential (8-R-1) and shown as APN 001-271-002 located at 5408 Shemara Street.
Hearing on the request of Nueman Mendro Andrulaitis Architects for Steve and Patty Hill to consider Case No. 14-1716-ARB for preliminary review of a proposal to remodel an existing single family dwelling and construct additions to the residence totaling 648 square feet. As part of the remodel, the existing side-loaded garage would be reoriented to face the street. New landscaping, hardscape and driveway are included in the proposal. The property is a 6,496 square foot parcel zoned Single Family Residential (6-R-1) and shown as APN 003-352-004 located at 5661 Canalino Drive.
Hearing on the request of the City of Carpinteria to consider the review of the Draft Residential Design Guidelines for the Concha Loma Neighborhood (Subarea 5). The Guidelines address building mass and scale, frontage design, architectural elements, landscaping, lighting, fencing, solar access and utility and services. The Guidelines apply to all properties zoned Single Family Residential (6-R-1) in the Concha Loma Neighborhood (Subarea 5) as identified in the Community Design Element of the City’s General Plan/Coastal Land Use Plan.
