City of Carpinteria’s Architectural Review Board
will hold a regular public meeting at 5:30 p.m.
on Thursday, February 26, 2009 in the Council Chambers at City Hall in Carpinteria,

C. PRESENTATIONS BY CITIZENS
This is a time for public comments on matters not
otherwise on the agenda but within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Architectural
Review Board. Comments shall be limited
to 15 minutes, divided among those persons desiring to speak, but no person
shall speak longer than five minutes.
Persons wishing to speak on a specific item will be recognized at the
time the agenda item is considered.
The City is not responsible for the content of
statements made during the public comment period,
or the factual accuracy of any such statements.

08-1421-CDP for a final review of a proposal to enclose (with walls and a roof)
an existing 182 square foot open area between the existing kitchen and the
existing refrigerated/dry goods storage areas at the Spot Restaurant as
required by the Santa Barbara County Environmental Health Department. The project would also include a minor
interior remodel to relocate existing amenities such as sinks, ice machines,
syrup boxes and the electric meter. The

Hearing on the
request of Michelle Velarde of Investec Real Estate for an in progress review
of the Lagunitas Mixed Use Project which includes 73 residential units (36 condominium
units and 37 single family dwellings) and an office building of 85,000 square feet with 340 parking spaces. Site improvements include private roadways,
trails, a tot lot, two detention
basins and infrastructure for all site utilities,
including a bus stop on Via Real. The
ARB will review the residential portion of the project only. The site is 25 acres in size, is zoned Industrial Research
Park (M-RP) and is
identified as APN 001-190-017,
addressed as 6380 Via Real.
